When did freedom turn into bashing other people or infringing on their freedom? I agree that people living in a country should definitely try to blend in and of course respect that countries' laws, however, there is nothing in any form of freedom that excuses insulting someone.

Then I am free to insult the people who live next door to me - everyday instead of bidding them good morning, maybe I should insult them? I'm free - everyone is free to say or do what they like with no regards for others, is this what you're preaching?

All the cartoons did was provoke public outcry and hate - is this the freedom you are so proud of? If this is freedom, I want no part of it. This is not about forcing religion on others, it's about extending your fellow man common decency.
