First and most of all Ali is a true American hero, like all others who loved and fought for their Country. It is a big mistake to believe that Ali is a true muslim or pro-african. He used religion and Africanity to fight what he believed was anti-american (segregation and discrimination) for the good of is own Country.

Do not forget that Ali and Foreman accepted each a pay-cheque of $5 million (more than $50 million in today money), took by a Megalomaniac Dictator Mobutu form the volt of a poor African Country, knowing perfectly well that Black people from that very same Country didn't have schools, hospitals, or roads and that the money they received for the Rumble in the jungle fight could have been spent to build these infrastructures for for black people in Africa.

Today, the legacy of Ali, Foreman and other Don King to us Africans is a huge national debt that we are still paying back.
