comment on Ali

Dear Dr. Pipes,

Although I often agree with much of what you write, I often find that there is something in your comments that I do not agree with. However, I could not agree more with your comments about Ali.

The irony is that Ali is honored by many of those to whom he has been most crititical in his rejection of the nation, and the religions, who in their tolerance for his intolerance, bigotry, etc, etc, allowed him to be the "success" his is. That is he should have gone to jail for a few years.

I note that were the situations reversed, that is if Ali, and his kind in control, most of those who honor him would be immediately dead or in miserable prisons, stripped of all of their worldly possessions, as he and his supporters would not be as charitable toward the people with whom they disagree, as those who now honor Ali. And, that observation is based upon his and their public statements of their desires.

Ain't America Great.
