Obama's vision of the future?

Reader comment on item: I Give Up: There Is No Terrorism, There Are No Terrorists
in response to reader comment: No Bet Here For 2017.

Hi, Tovey

It's only 80F in my room right now, so my mind's a little clearer. I remember now, that I had mentioned 2017 as the time Obama will be replaced by either Hillary or some Republican. It's in that context, that you said,

By the way, if the house bank were asked about 2017, Greece getting more tme for is bailout is the safer bet.

Even allowing for typos, I'm not sure I understand. I had said,

The big news of today, of course, is the "Peace in Our Time" duo of the Greece bailout agreement and the Iran-Iran nuclear agreement. In both cases, reality has been mythologized and pushed off into the near future. Obama & Co are betting that the time of reckoning won't happen until after January, 2017.

When I wrote that, the Iran deal and the Greek bailout actually were the current news. Congress is going on vacation, the last I heard, before deliberating about the Iran deal. Meanwhile, the Iranians are on a crash course of obtaining nuclear delivery systems. That doesn't portend "peace", in my book. As for the Greeks, my to Google surf came up wth:

Greek industry has been obliterated by the bank and bailout turmoil

It's accompanied by a graph of the Greek economy, that seems to portend no future at all. World War II recued the US and President Roosevelt from a similarly impossible situation. Is Obama hoping for something similar? Otherwise, when the next Greek payment to the German loan sharks comes due, they will be in more of a crisis than they are today.

In all of this, it seems that Obama and his team seem to have no idea about how they are destroying this planet. The Jews of Israel are the historical root of Western Civilization. Obama's envisioned future seems to involved first denying water to that root, then plucking it out. To be more specific and graphic, it seems to consist of Zechariah 14 -- and the madman is racing to accomplish it! What is his vision? A planet run from Georgetown University? Perhaps enclosed in a bubble? The abandoning of earth, and colonizing Mars with the leftist intelligentsia?

I realize that I have strayed from the OP here, and apologize. This is what is on my mind, though: Obama has either been simply reacting to world events with little aforethought, or is working toward a vision of the future that is absolutely bizarre -- one that includes the destruction of Israel. That may not be the OP of this thread; but it seems to be at the bottom of many OPs on this blog.

Lunch is on. Shalom shalom :-)
