Fallacy of moral equivalency

Reader comment on item: Boston Bombing Lesson: Ban Niqabs and Burqas
in response to reader comment: what happened to religious freedom?

Ms. Schwarts, do-gooders like you help spread the myth of "islamophobia" which ultimately will lead to burqas becoming quite common, not that conspicuous thing on American streets. Female genital mutilation, while not that noticeable, will also become acceptable with your help as well as all other ugly rituals of muslim women' oppression. You're making lethal mistake of equating our Jewish religious traditions with barbaric cult of islam.

If there was a chain of terrorist acts by Orthodox Jews I'd be the first to advocate ... checking under your wig before letting you in the aircraft. Besides, such drastic measures, while are useful at the airports, are absolutely impractical at the mass events like any sport gathering. Passing hundreds of thousands of people through checkpoints will take a few days. And one more point: you prove your ignorance and detachment from reality by accusing Christians of shooting babies. Remind me please, of the last crucifying or lynching committed by vicious WHITE men in the name of Jesus Christ. Bashing Christians while defending muslims is a sure sign of pathological suicidal tendencies by certain part of Jewish population. Supporting Obama is another symptom of that ... – 70% of us succumbed to it.
