Yes, Outlaw the Wearing of Niqabs and Burqas in America

Reader comment on item: Boston Bombing Lesson: Ban Niqabs and Burqas

Submitted by Mike Ramirez (United States), Apr 21, 2013 at 14:43

The loose clothing, including full head covering of Niqabs and Burqas, is what has permitted even the Sunni and Shia to go in to one anothers' Mosques in the Middle East and detonate explosives that were concealed by the garb. No one will know if a male or female is the wearer and this raises the potential danger of future bombings that may occur in America as they have in the Middle East power struggles between Sunni and Shia Islam. Dr. Pipes has made a good point that should be heeded by U.S. lawmakers. It is better to take preventative measures now in order to help deter potential dangers that could occur in the future.
