QED - It is actually happening right now.

Yesterday, by sheer accident I heard about unrest in Northern Germany with two police officers attacked by Salafists. Was like some Reuters agency ticker with no details.

Today, I opened up all my German News links to find out more, but could not find anything. Let us not forget, that my main source, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, traditionally one of the most reputed and respected newspapers with its online version, reported extensively about the Trayvon Martin shooting in the US, the NY mosque controversy (painting us TP members who strongly opposed it as ultra conservatives and right wing nutters) or devoted a full page piece to the idiot priest down south in the US, who publicly burned a Quran, the very same newspaper did not only completely neglect this grave incident whioch happened yesterday - even the one German Newsorg which actually had an article about it, almost desperately tries to avoid the elephant in the room and talk about Salafists who actually committed the violence, while putting an emphasis upon the fact that the unrest was provoqued by right wing extremist demonstrations.

Not a word about the real provocation, the prior free handout of Qurans by the very same group which attacked the police or that this action continued today.

By calling the anti-Islam demonstrators right extremists, the Germans depict the situation, as if those people abuse their right of free speech, while the Salafists are well within their right - apart from the fact that the two critically injured officers were attacked with knives by Salafists, a fact which is almost utterly being covered up.

This blatant hypocrisy reminds me of what just happened in the US regarding the aforementioned Trayvon Martin Shooting. The entire MSM roared in a hyped up outrage for weeks (notwithstanding that the man was actually a Hispanic and proven not a racist, having mentored black children in the past), while 2 weeks ago, a black mob attacked in Virginia a white couple of reporters of a local newspaper just because they were, being white, at the wrong place at the wrong time. The very same newspaper sat on the story for 2 weeks, and is still downplaying its gravity, until Bill O'Reilly of Fox News picked it up asking rightfully the key question: Imagine, a white mob would have attacked a black couple. What would have happened? We would see race riots all over the US of A.

This is what is happening in Germany at present. Muslims get a free pass, even, if it is them provoking conflict and the right of free speech by everybody else who happens to disagree with it, is being branded as racist and bigot. And - even more audacious - it is happening right now and right here in Western Europe, not in Ryadh or Sanaa. What the hell is happening here?

Dr. Pipes, isn't it about time to address this appeasement towards Islam in the Western world?

Here, GIK, the link to the one German Newspaper addressing this latest outrage (even if very slanted, as nowhere it says that it was the Salafists injuring the officers)
