Found this link on the very same page you offered with regard to the Libyan situation.

A muslim writer carefully daring to call for some form of reform and reformation..

This is the kind of muslim voice I was hoping for, which, if ever such opinions would take hold, could become the fundament for the so often mentioned movement of Moderate Islam, a modern form of a humanistic Islam which would be future oriented and not backwards, retrograde focused.

This is the very first time I found a non-apologetic, purely introspective and unemotional muslim perspective on the so very much needed reform of Islam itself. Well worth a read.
