Rajeev--by the sound of your name you are maybe an immigrant of American of Indian (no not red Indian ) origin but that from India the land of caste and outcaste. and miscaste?

Together with your insight of Islam ala Indian experience can you also do us a favour by telling us how the caste system works. That will include notes on the artificial barriers erected by Hindus towards other Hindus in all aspects of life.

I think Islam has to a certain extent break down those barriers which are indeed impediments to development of justice and fulfilment of human rights aspiration in India.

BTW, if I were you I will not flee to US but stay put in my country and set things right. Then only I have the credibility to talk and criticise others. You agree ?
