In the Beginning was the WORD, The WORD is the LORD

That anyone who has read what this reader has written and does not understand who this reader follows, being a disciple of Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, does not bode any surprise, for it is the contention that if someone has accepted Yeshua HaMashiach as LORD and the Savior, the Anointed, there is no need to explain Who He is. So, for someone to ‘claim' to love the ‘prophet Jesus' and not do His commandments is an antithetical statement, for to love Yeshua, Jesus, is to be obedient to His every WORD. Can any Muslim make that ‘claim?' The testimonies given here and elsewhere say, empathically, they do not.

This reader has known a man, and that man knew several with whom he associated that could quote large amounts of scripture in his native tongue from memory; for some, all of it. It is a singular achievement, one that any who can do so should be proud of. But as we all must admit, not all are as capable to remember due to the frailty of the human condition. To do so in an original language of the ancient scripts would be a surpassing talent. So we rely on the written word, and for disciples of Yeshua, Jesus, such as this reader, the reliance is on the Holy Bible as is inspired by the Holy Spirit.

The question you pose regarding the ability of any follower of any religion to have in immediate memory the original language of a specific written text is one of rhetorical exploration of a scholastic level, one that defies the ordinary man's capabilities. For a true believer in Yeshua, Jesus, such a thing is acknowledged as improbable on a common scale, though there may be some. Does a person need to have such a capability to acknowledge Yeshua, Jesus, as his or her ‘Savior' and receive Yeshua, Jesus into their hearts? No, emphatically not.

Paul writes that all he would know is Yeshua, Jesus and the salvation wrought of His love, and nothing else. Not bad for a man who knew the totality of scriptures in Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic (long before the Quran was penned in Arabic) and could argue his position of faith in Yeshua, Jesus with the best of them. I have no such proclivities, and further, I have no need to provide similar apologetics to anyone who does not discern Romanized Christianity (your references to the pope and other Catholic things, to whom this reader owes no allegiances) from true faith.

Our faith in Yeshua, Jesus, is not merely guaranteed by the written WORD in the Holy Bible, but is inspired and hallowed by the power of the Holy Spirit, another qualification that the true disciple has to provide assurance of our salvation in Yeshua, Jesus. A true disciple only needs to turn his/her heart and mind to Yeshua, Jesus while seeking His will in their life as prescribed by the Holy Bible and He responds, by answering prayer through His WORD, as found in the Holy Bible. The beauty of it is that it comes in the language of understanding, for Yeshua, Jesus, speaks the language of those who seek Him in truth.

My friend, it does not get any better than that, except, only when He calls for us to join Him in Heaven. Then, the relationship is complete, and we speak to Him directly in the communion of His love. Why would anyone want to give that up? None of the disciples who knew Yeshua, Jesus, face to face, would give that up, and neither will I.

In case it is not evident, Yeshua HaMashiach is Jesus Christ; either way He is the LORD.
