Reader comment on item: Islamic Economics: What Does It Mean?
in response to reader comment: Why I will not accept Islam

Submitted by Jameel (South Africa), May 28, 2009 at 06:26

There is no compulsion in islam, the only compulsion we have in Islam is to pass the message, nothing beyond, to accept our not is your baby, our duty is just to make sure you don't say:

"But Allah!! I did not know of your message, Uh! Uh! nobody told me, please save me from hell"

It does not benefit us in the least whether you go to heaven or hell, it's for you own benefit, so if you choose to burn in hell, be our guest, the quran has spoken about people like yourself:

As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not.

So we know about the arrogant, but to change hearts is in the hands of allah. So you say you are not afraid of this hell it's all a myth, good luck with your confidence it is soon to be shattered, especially considering the fact you are already 70. Here are a few versus from quran to help you understand your everlasting resting place, enjoy!!

[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back that I might do righteousness in that which I left behind (i.e. in that which I neglected)." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles (i.e. their lips having been contracted by scorching until the teeth are exposed). (Quran, 23:99-104)
