More reply to EstherReader comment on item: When Israel Stood Up to Washington [in 1981] Submitted by Debanjan Banerjee (India), Apr 16, 2010 at 00:22 Hi Esther, I will add more details to my previous blog. It was the Arab Muslims under the leadership of Caliph Omar who allowed you to come back in live in Jerusalem. It was the Muslims in Al-Andalusia who protected you from Christian powers in the Europe and allowed you to prosper. It was the Muslims in Ottoman Empire who welcomed you with open arms after you are forced to flee Catholic Spain following the inquisition. It was the Arab Muslims in the holy land who refused to obey Hitler's and the Mufti of Jerusalem's call to murder you all. It is the Arab Muslims in Judea and Samaria who are the men who build all those settlements , roads and all those buildings for you where they themselves are not allowed to stay by your law. My heart cries to you Esther ... why ? why ? why ? Among all the peoples in the world why did you not make love to your own , your brothers , the Arabs. If you have made love to them during the time of the prophet by now you probably would have been ruling the world. I ask you why you hate your only brother (the Arabs) in this world?
