WARNING TO AMERICA -Reader comment on item: When Israel Stood Up to Washington [in 1981] Submitted by Gordon Weare (New Zealand), Apr 9, 2010 at 00:28 Unfamiliar isn't it ? America is in peril tampering with Israel (as anyone else is ). Britain, under the sick & sorry 'Anthony Eden' government, had queer ideas of Jews - just like their European parts. Remember, Britain's war with Germany was purely military.. nothing to do with morality or fairness. Hence Britains queer, sick & sorry record of handling the Exodus. Only, yes only.. USA had any real sympathy for the plight of the Jews of Europe in 1945 on. And as a result USA was tops ! Britain sank fast, Eden losing its Empire at the Suez crisis, and has sunk deeper since. As USA leans in the same erroneous direction as UK did in 1945, 1948 and so on - USA will lose its economic/financial empire (In which the entire globe suffers, China is on the rise too ). I enjoyed the movie DEFIANCE and the movie MUNICH by Spielberg, especially the grovelling by the anti-Semites before they were, you-know-what.... I envy that, Go Israel = Lead ! the world (ie world thinking) needs jolt-reminder ).
