Dear Dr. Daniel Pipes,

Your article is very relevant for these days, where President Obama and his Administration are leading the Middle East to inevitable military conflict, by siding with the those supporting the elimination of the State of Israel, this way or another.

The new pro Arab and pro Muslims policy, is guided by the notion of the majority in the American Administration' consitrating on putting havy pressure, will change the attidute of the Arab and the Muslim world to be favourable to the U.S. This might be correct concerning the way of thinking in the Western countries, but not the Arab countries and the Muslim world. In the contrary, the pressure of President Obama on Israel and his praising of the Muslim world in his unfortunate speach at Cairo university, (see - http://www.mfa.gov.il/MFA/Foreign%20Relations/Israels%20Foreign%20Relations%20since%201947/1981-1982/91%20Statement%20by%20Prime%20Minister%20Begin%20on%20US%20Measure ), President brought only tougher demands by the Palestinianss. They never put the halt of constructions in East Jerusalem as a condition for negotions with Israel. One should ask why now? and the answer is obvious.

The Iranian issue is an excellent example of a wrong policy that President Obama is leading, which is regarded is fitting in the same category of a wrong policy toward Israel. since November 2008, could President Obama point out to a single achievment towards the wsmart guysw un Tehran where they are playing a game of missleading? Once the American Administartion made a simular wrong policy with North Korea, which allowed her to obtain the nuclear capability. Now President Obama is repeating the same wrong ploicy towards Iran, unless he dcided to give up.

Israel, as the late Prime minister Begin, brought to the minds of the American Aministration - The people of Israel had lasted 3700 years and will continue to exsist, preferably with a better understanding of the 'real politique' of the Middle East.

Best regards,

Shimshon issaki
