Johnson (United States), Apr 6, 2010 at 09:16 I can't fault any leader for standing up for the best interests of his own country. I wish American policy makers would do the same when it comes to Israel, and remember that being an ally isn't the same as being a patsy. I think today there is more debate about expansionists policies in the West Bank and Jerusalem in Israel than there is in the U.S., because we are--as usual--just waiting for the party in power at the moment in Israel to tell us what to think and do, or even what is in our own best interests. A pathetic and failed approach we need to get over.
