What is there to worry about

Reader comment on item: Predicting a Majority-Muslim Russia

Submitted by Riz (Canada), Aug 17, 2008 at 01:02

If the population of Muslims is increasing in Russia so is the population of Muslims is on rise in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and North & South America. Most people in their daily interactions do come in contact with Muslims whether at work, school or in their neighbourhoods. So instead of raising the issue why not contribute towards building understanding betweem Muslims and non-Muslims; why not realize that we all are human being; why not realize that United States need to move from a neo-colonistic policy towards Middle East that supports Sheiks and Emirs (absolute rulers or one party states like Egypt, Algeria) towards a policy that respects the Muslim population and encourages the nurturing of democracy. Let's move on!
