Sad but true.Reader comment on item: U.S. to Israel: Do As We Say ... Submitted by Gregory Deych (United States), Jul 4, 2003 at 20:17 This is one of those things that drives me up the wall about US foreign policy. .. The Administration has a chosen objective - to bring in Israelis and Palestinians together in a peace settlement, and to this end it criticizes any action which may jeopardise the "process of the peace process". Fortunately, we are spared the sight of State Department spokesman arguing with the ends of Israeli actions (i.e making Israel safer), which leaves him nothing but arguing with the means. So what if those same means are used by US troops several hundred miles to the NE?Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
