Sympathy

Dear Prof Pipes,
I have complete sympathy with the predicament of Israel. I am aware of the duplicity of the USA regarding its treatment of democratic and liberal India with dictatorial Islamic Republic of Pakistan. I admire Israel that despite in a state of war it has preserved and protected its democratic ideals and practice. I wonder if the USA is interested in promoting elsewhere.
