Hebrew National, the hot dog makers' slogan is "We hold to a higher standard". This is great for hotdogs. Yet,the USA seems to think Israel should be like a hot dog. Israel,a little parcel of land given to the Jews by the UN seems to be the " whipping boy" for the world.
This is not an unusual position for Jews. Anti-semitism is hardly a new invention. Yet,with all the horrors going on in the World why is Israel singled out? Partly because the "Arabs" pretend they will accept Israel. This notion creates a delusional foreign policy. Israel will never be accepted. Just, look at today's U.N. and the picture becomes clearer. There's a saying in the Arab street:"First the Saturday people(Jews);next the Sunday people (Christians). We see the beginning of this theme in Iraq. Never under estimate the power of the word-infidel. It is the shibboleth of Islam. Every defense in the service of our country or religious beliefs is a hard nose reality. I assure you, they will never be on a par of what Arabs do to their own. The "cease fire ' is wishful thinking. Yet,Israel.out of gratitude to the U.S. goes along.Yes,I pray for peace and a free Israel and a Palestinian State. But, Abbas is a "trojan horse". Believing the Arabs will make us all into hot dogs will be the ultimate result.. Pass the mustard, please. And,I'm not talking about what Sadam used on the Kurds.
