hamas terror organizationReader comment on item: Don't deal with terrorists Submitted by Dan (United States), Jan 26, 2006 at 09:59 Regarding comments about dealing w hamas after being elected: dealing w an undersirable regime after being legitimately elected is a far cry from dealing w a terrorist regime that a priori declares its intent to destroy another country and its population. While hamas may have been "democratically" elected, this governmnet is a thugocracy and represents nothing more than the worst impulses of the population which elected it to power. While its true fatah may have been corrupt and ineffective, hamas is the greater of the two evils, not the lesser. This election legitimizes the continued aggression against Israel and commits the palestinians to perpetual conflict and victimization until they accept the saner alternative. For those who think otherwise, perhaps they should move to gaza or the west bank and live under the rule of these muslim terrorists.
