Dear friends, J.S Daniel and whaley,
I respect your views that Islam can not be reformed, has universal dimention, and that you see people with a different view on this as part of the problem. that is all a debate. sayying that people are like animals, you remind me of the little girl I saw in a kids program in one of the channels as the animator asked her about the king of animals, expecting her to say lion, but she replied stating the name of the king of that country. They closed that channel later..So I just found a comparision grownd between a holder of MD and a holder of her finger into her mouth as her teets try to push out..
Sayying that Islam devides the world to 2 parts, dar salam for muslims and dar el harb for war against infidel is not a valid argument. That classical view is no different than the classical christian view and ideology of crusades. So if we define Islam that way and Christianity the other way, we will be preaching a 3rd world war where none will be the winner. Fidel Castro recently says that any attack on Iran starts here in Cuba..I understood that may be the Shihab and Fajr missiles are in Havana and maybe Caracas!! who knows..with Nuke head from Former USSR I think will change the rules of the game if not already changed.
Samual Huntington`s worst ever theory of evil preaching and defective academic research encoureged terror and made some people believe like G.W Bush`s Zorological ideology of "my way or the high way" that is unfortunatly what has aborted the discourse among civilizations..
All attacks against Islam from fear of Islamdom gives more legitimacy to it in the eyes of the audience. The question remains as some may pose it: "..you are -my economic- enemy already attacking my faith so my faith is legitimate.." in a world of unequal wealth distribution. Why Latin christians do not have aproblem like the USA and Britain with Islam!! This question should be seen under the light of the new iternational order where there is a North South conflict and not religious conflict like the multibillionists try to convince...
