Reader comment on item: Don't deal with terrorists

Unfortunatelly knowing facts of past history we learned that today's "We don't talk with..." becomes tomorrow's: "This is the will of the the people! We Have no right to interfere in peoples' wishes and can't change what they decided will be their fate so, let's talk with them..." Wasn't this the case with Musso, Hit, Sta, etc...?
