U.S. policy will changeReader comment on item: Don't deal with terrorists Submitted by Steve Klein (United States), Jan 25, 2006 at 10:46 Yet we know Dr. Pipes, U.S. policy will ultimately change in order to conform with facts on the ground, and allow for dealing with Hamas. The U.S. State Department will likely take Hamas off its official list foreign terrorist organizations. At one point in time, former administrations said were steadfast that we would never deal with the PLO which is today is the Palestinian Authority. A Palestinian state was unthinkable just a few short years back. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
