Reader comment on item: Should We Blame a Florida Pastor for Deaths in Afghanistan?
in response to reader comment: Yes, Pastor Terry Jones is Responsible!!

Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Apr 23, 2011 at 08:46

Having lived all my 55 years in a "moderate" Muslim country, I can tell you without reservation and hesitation, Pastor Jone's direct responsibility for the deaths in Afghanistan. What it requires for anyone to think otherwise is the unwillingness to accept that human responses are not exactly universally defined or in any standard template that is predictable.

The "human response" !!!!!????

On September 11th, Islamics danced in the streets in New York City. They paraded and banged pots in celebration of Americans who were slaughtered in the name of Allah. Should we have murdered them because they danced on our graves. Afterall, our response is a "human response"

We, the people, including Pastor Jones are born with our rights of freedom. "Human response" the "I can't help myself" theory has no place in our law.

United States Constitution

Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression

(Adopted 1791)

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government. The pastor's right to burn the Queran, criticize Allah and/or to demean Islam is inalienable.

As for "throw stones at a bee hive and you expect innocents around not to be bitten makes you really stupid!" The insect theory demeans Islamics to drones in a hive, programmed at birth to react violently to anything that disturbs their hive. They do not think because they are programmed to only react.

That is a rather sad state of affairs for the true believers.
