Biblical scripture does not support Mr. Jones, and His actions...

Reader comment on item: Should We Blame a Florida Pastor for Deaths in Afghanistan?

Submitted by James fleming (United States), Apr 7, 2011 at 11:32

Several days ago, after much prayer and deep thought, I went to Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville where I live, with hopes of speaking to Mr. Jones. In the front of the center is a sign which reads that there will be a protest there on April 22, 2011...As I walked up to the front door and attemped to open the door which was locked. There is a button between the two doors which you have to press to call someone to the door.

After standing for a short time, a young man came down to the door talking on his cell phone, opened the door and quickly said he would be with me in a moment...When he came back he steped outside the door and ask me what I needed by which I replied that I would like to speak to Mr. Jones...I was told that Mr. Jones was traveling, why do you need to speak to him?

I went there to ask Mr. Jones to cease and de-sist in his actions against Islam, it was in the name of Jesus Christ by which I made the request...I told him that the Bible does not support his actions, and in fact speaks against his actions. The conversation conitnued, in much more than I will discuss in this email...I will say that the young man became quite rude to me and told me to leave the property, I was not welcomed there...
