Reader comment on item: Why Did American Airlines 587 Crash?

Numerous eyewitnesses saw an explosion. The witnesses include Pete Hayden --The HIghest Ranking officer in the NY Fire Department (Chief of Department) -- not exactly an alamrmist or inexperienced observer. Here's hoping some in the media will stay on top of this -- it's the only way the investigation will be thorough.
