Cover up to save the airline industry

The last thing the airline industry needed after 9/11 is another terrorist attack on the airline industry. If they came out and said "yep, they got us again." People would say "that's it, I'm not flying anymore."

This could have killed the airline industry.

One thing I've noticed since 9/11 is that the government/corporate/media complex is much more concerned about damage to the economy than loss of human life. Witness all the government speeches where we are told how the government is protecting us and we should go shopping and take that vacation.
