What about TWA 800?

Reader comment on item: Why Did American Airlines 587 Crash?

Submitted by Lisa Michelson (United States), Aug 30, 2004 at 13:18

Mr. Pipes,

I'm very surprised you neglected to mention the explosion of TWA flight 800 that went down off of Moriches, Long Island on July 17, 1996. My son was on that flight so I know all the "official" reasons given by our government. I also believe we were lied to. Please do a Google seach on TWA 800, Ray Lahr and Jack Cashill. You might also read First Strike by Jack Cashill. All of the book except the final chapter is factual.
