Are ashkenazi jews real jews?

As a jewish Israeli, whose family came from Iraq, some things always puzzled me.

about half of Israel is made of jews who ran away from the arab lands surrounding Israel (and near them). Not only that we are more "genetically" jewish, we also remember that for every palestinian who ran away from Israel there were 2 jews who were kicked out of the arab lands at the same time. (450 thousand "palestinians" and 900 thousand jews).

It is always the ashkenazi jews who are anti-Israel. ...
