You can't erase the past.

I wish I could reassure you that the behavior of Mohammad allows you to deny that his words and his deeds did not make room for Islam to teach whatever it wanted in order to gain power on earth. He even changed laws to suit his desires, such as allowing him to separate a husband from his wife because he desired her.

We can't deny the evil we commit by erasing our history from all unpleasantness. Mohammad would become irritated with people who criticized him and would have them murdered by the casual remark that something should be done to stop them. The false teaching that men who murder for Allah are rewarded with mindless woman in paradise is an exact result from the founder of Islam promising humans whatever they desired if they would follow him. I am sorry, but you cannot take the sword out of the hands of Mohammad, he used it to spread Islam and for his own enrichment. The imans and the mullahs are doing exactly what he did, gaining power and riches on earth while the real riches we keep in our hearts wither away with the cares of the world.
