To Clarify

Perhaps some Bible-believing Christians simply understand Scripture's messages and examples not simply of blessing, but of sacrifice, and, of persecution as well, of Jews as well as of believing Christians. Both historically and currently, hostility and much attendant disinformation seem to have undermined opportunities for discourse concerning this naturally private topic of faith and any concomitant demonstration of adherence. There is a great deal of mistrust in places where there ought to be strengthening/fellowship. The opportunity for real discussion often seems lost. It's great to hear/see some in these fora, though.
