Why Would Anyone Want It ?

The Egyptians don't want Gaza anymore than the Jordanian government wants the West Bank back. They realize that to establish any sort of order would require the killing of great numbers of terrorists. If order is ever to be restored, the arab governments would much rather the Israelis be blamed for doing the necessary. If Israel gets a government with enough instinct for self-preservation to do what they need to do, they can take the blame, if not the political problem of the arab governments with Israel will be solved by the terrorists eventually eliminating Israel.
