Do you really think there is a difference between Hamas and the Jew-hating Sunni leaders in Egypt?Reader comment on item: Give Gaza to Egypt Submitted by Doc Tater (United States), Feb 6, 2008 at 18:15 It makes much more sense to think of Hamas in Gaza as a puppet organization directed by bloodthirsty Sunni leaders in Egypt, or to think of Hamas as a big covert operations organization that affords the Sunni leaders in Egypt a sort of plausible deniability, than to think that "Egypt" is somehow different than "Hamas". That being the case, Israel should grab the land everywhere it can, build up the size of buffer zones, expell the hostiles in the buffer zones, and stop hanging on to this silly Oslo syndrome mind-set that results in delusional plans like "land for peace". Egypt is hostile to Israel, so how could advancing the Egyption border closer to Tel Aviv make Israel more safe?
