End the rocket fire?

Reader comment on item: Give Gaza to Egypt

Only if Egypt can actually control Gaza, which would require occupation, at least for a while. It's hard to see what's in it for Egypt. Cairo, like all the other Arab capitals, are happy to see Gaza and the West Bank fester. They get to blame Israel, while taking no responsibility or incurring any hardship. It seems their only incentive will be to keep more Gazans from pouring over the border. They'll just create miserable camps, and wait for the Gazans to repatriate themselves.
