Muslim Schools in AmericaReader comment on item: On New York's "Khalil Gibran International Academy" Submitted by Iftikhar Ahmad (United Kingdom), Aug 28, 2007 at 17:15 Salaam George Bernard Shaw believed that if today an autcrat of Mohammad's calibre assumes world leadership, he could solve all problems of humanity splendidly. The world will become an abode of peace and happiness. He predicted that tomorrow's Europe will embrace Islam. But the modern western academics, politicians and media believe that Islam needs to be reformed. Muslims need to be civilised. Islam is dangerous and violent. Except for those lovely Sufis who are peaceful, everyone else desires to blow himself up and take as many along with him. Basil Bunting, poet, soldier and a journalist believed that sooner or later we must absorb Islam if our culture is not to die of anaemia.
