Now if we trun to real history the Hijazi Arabs called themselves al-muhajiruun (Moagaritoi in Greek and Mihgraye in Syriac and they did not call themselves neither Arabs nor Muslim and why is that our dear Omm?. See Hoyland survey) realized early on that many paople in the lands that they invaded wanted to join them in looting others (oh I forgot and give Allah and his rasul 1/5 of the loot) and by becoming Muslim like the Arabs they can also avoid paying the mafia tax called al-Jizya.

But the Hijazi Arabs laready knew that the Qur'an says that Islam is only the religion of the Hijazi Arabs. So what was the way out? It was:

1. The potential convert must become an Arab first and how was this acheived? It was through the process of al-mawali! And those mawali are those wannabe arabs that wanted to convert to islam and share in looting (see John of Nikui) so those mawali had to find first an Arab that would be the sponsor or wali for coverting them to islam

4. And once a mawla finds a wali he becomes and Arab

3. And then and only then can he convert to islam. So much for Arabian imperialism

4. But you know what was most humiliating to those wannabe Arabs? The Arabs demanded that they must continue to pay the jizya!

How come you did not that?
