Go Ahead With School But...

Submitted by J. Lev (United States), May 16, 2007 at 10:57

Having more Americans with the ability to translate Arabic couldn't hurt these days. I say go ahead with the school with the following rules in place as sign of good intent to the public : 1.) All staff must speak Arabic and English 2.) At least 2/3 of the staff must be Christian, Jewish or otherwise non-Muslim 3) There must be at least two Administrators, one of whom is non-Muslim. 4) If Muslim students are wearing traditional garb then it shall be actively ENCOURAGED for all non-Muslim students to wear Crosses, Yamulkes, Stars of David, "Jesus Saves" and "Om" t-shirts and any other item reflecting their own religion. 5.) A mixed -faith committee shall be established of at least 2/3 Arabic speaking non-Muslims to agree upon curriculum and publish all lesson plans , text book and other resource information on a public access web site. 6.) The school shall hold a yearly "International Festival" in which Israel is recognized as well as Arabic speaking non-Muslims who are currently being persecuted around the world.
