Godot, while your observations may be interesting, I must call to your attention that at least regarding the Hassidic Jews you are wrong. In Judaism (all streams and groups included) the sanctity of life is paramount. Saving a life in Judaism overrides all commandments. Therefore, a Hassidic Jew will ask for a kosher medicine only if such a medicine is available, and is not less effective. Otherwise, if needed for saving a life, even eating of pork (the ultimate symbol of un-kosher food) is not only permitted but mandated.

Therefore, at least in this respect, there is no room for comparison between the barbarian Islamism and even the most fundamentalist streams in Judaism.
