This Cannot Be For Real!Reader comment on item: Islamists in the Hospital Ward Submitted by Jacob Burkey (United States), Jan 4, 2007 at 02:45 How many alcohols naturally occur in the body? Thousands? Any carbon atom covalently bonded to an oxygen atom that is in turn covalently bonded to a hydrogen atom is by definition an alcohol, no matter what else is bonded to that carbon. I'd call it shoddy Koranic exegesis, but is there even such a thing as exegesis of the contradictory Koran? Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
