Now medicines too are being assigned " religious connotations"?

To Mr. Abdul Majid Katme:

Some people, it seems have firmly resolved never to learn anything from history.In the 1940's it was your co-religionists who, in undivided India, came up with the blatantly stupid ideas of "Hindu chai, Mulim chai ", " Hindu Paani, Muslim paani, " on the railway stations of the sub-continent , with disastrous results for the Muslims themselves.

One would have hoped that this syndrome would since have given place to mature and rational impulses in the minds of those who claim to lead this benighted community. However one hopes in vain. What we are witnessing in the lunatic outbursts of such representatives to-day is the re-emergence of the same irrational instincts. The question, however is this: Would Mr. Katme behave so irrationally if his own children were to be deprived of the benefits of the so-called "haram" medicines ? To any sane observer the answer should be obvious.
