By making every debate a religious debate, muslims cause themselves harm

Dear Dr Pipes,

Whether male/female patients share a hospital ward any many other similar questions mentioned in this debate are reasonable questions. What makes this discussion distasteful is the Muslim's tendency to tag everything with their brandname. Your God is not a good God unless he is Allah, your mutual fund is not a good mutual fund unless it is an Islamic mutual fund, your ethics is not good unless it is Islamic ethics, your red-cross is not good enough unless it is red-crescent, and your nuclear bomb is bad unless it is Islamic nuclear bomb.

After they adopt exclusionary policies in every walk of their lives, Muslims lament that they are discriminated against. Well, didn't they ask for it? If a Muslim dentist insists all women to wear Hijab or find a different dentist and as a results some people start avoiding all muslim dentists, who is guilty of discrimination?
