"Out ,out damn spot" as Shakespere said. Trying to clean up Islam's image may be as difficult. The fact of advanced communications and outlets have lifted the rock under which Islam has been hiding to expose the brutality and digusting pattern and practice of political Islam. The gross intolerance, the rejection of human rights, the insistance on the domination of the Moslems over all non Moslems makes "Cleaning the image" of Islam like lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig, (no offense, of course). All the grandiouse claims by "Educated" Moslems of the great and noble history of the Islamic enterprise falls on deaf ears when we see the contemporary acts of the"True believers". If the "Educated" Moslem reject the Shiria law,the dogma of Muhammed,and the redaction of the koran, perhaps the image would improve, but then it would'nt be Islam would it? The expansion by violent means of the Islamic cause makes the Islamic ideology intrensically disordered , and thus unacceptable by "Educated" non Moslems.
