Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?

Have always believed "live and let live", but I am now ardently anti-Muslim. Do not want to be, but when I see USA and allies try to help Muslim Bosnians, Kosovians, etc against more western leaders, and then have to listen to Muslims continue the cry of Westerners are trying to eradicate Islam, am totally fed up of their ingratitude, etc.

Am in Australia and am fed up of their behaviour here. Twin Towers and massive loss of life resulted in barely audible protest from Muslims here, but one young misguided boy burnt down their mosque in response to Sept 11 and he gets gaol. We then hear very audibly from (moderate) muslims about how they are being discriminated against - Mosque burnt down,(no injury let alone death/s) that sort of thing. How does that compare, especially when culprit jaoled, against 3000 massacred in USA. I have no choice but to believe that inspite of muffled condemnation of Sept 11 from Muslims, they really are for the most part in favour of it. They are certainly much louder in their condemnations when a slight is felt by one of them.

Grand mufti in Australia, says Lebanese boys gang raping white Auzzie girls not their fault, but if anything to blame, it is the Australian culture. Dah - what country does he think he is in. How are we Australians suppose to feel about the Grand Mufti in Australia with a comment like that. Same guy believes that police stopping him in street is discrimination. Actually he had a flashy expensive car, but did not think that car registration applied to his illustrious self and vehicle. His solicitor claimed that due to his exulted position in Australian society, he should not be bound by the same laws as the rest of us. Big big pity that he was not kicked out in 1990/91 when the govt tried to do just that, but Aust muslim society protested so much that govt relented. Political correctness again - and within the next 2 decades we will really see what that decency has cost us.
