Reader comment on item: Does the [New York] Police Department Profile? Should It?
in response to reader comment: Indeed, I suspect the general public is "nuts.." and/or suicidal (?)

Some anti-Canadian blabist said: "Anyway, I couldn't stand to watch the program in its entirety -- I switched channels after 15 minutes or so...It's just too sickening..."

I say: you admit not watching the whole program. Yet, you are judging the whole program. Thus, your comment is invalid....

Now Canadian Muslims are the ones who led the police and RCMP to the arrest of the Terrorist innocents untill proven guilty gang. Unless the work of the Muslim community, there could have been no such arrest. My personal experience. All Muslim Canadian friends I know are determined to inform the police and RCMP if they ever know that someone is linked to terrorism; even if that someone is a brother. I find that great. Canadian authorities rewarded the community by isolating the incident to encourage more participation in the fight against possible -1% chance- terror in Canada.

Now let`s look at how the US would react if this was happening in New York. First, linking heavily in the media terrorism to Islam. Not mentioning the role of the community. NOT isolating the incident and making it a national crisis. The result, hate crimes against Muslims and the fear of Muslims to inform the US authorities because informing led to more of their problems that opposite.

Conclusion, the fact that the gap beteen the rich and poor is not too big in Canada, and the fact that people in their racial and belief difference in Canada enjoy equal opportunity rights, minimum dignity guarentee and freedom; these facts made of Candians more nationalistic than Americans. It made them love Canada and protect Canada. So American Guatanamo freaks need to take some courses in the Kingston Military College in order to be called a force from a civilized nation. So far we` ve seen, it look s like Canibals from a poor nation doing the war for democracy...I mean, they want to give Iraqis the opportunity that they (American soldiers) and their families do not have in the US.

A proverb says: If you lack something how can you give it!!!

I must admit that the absolute freedom the US citizens have is carrying guns without a walefare check..that means the freedom to do the equalization business yourself..that is why the USA have the largest Prisoner per Capita rate in the world...
