Go ahead and profile me, I have nothing to hide.

Reader comment on item: Does the [New York] Police Department Profile? Should It?

Submitted by Yoven (United States), Jun 14, 2006 at 14:03

As a person from an Indian background, I am totally in agreement with Dr Pipes, I can even say it out loud so the whole world can hear me, GO AHEAD AND PROFILE ME. I would be willing with pleasure to give a sample of my DNA, my fingerprint, voice sample, whatever is needed to protect the national security of this great nation. I would even take a step further, why can't I state clearly that I am NOT MUSLIM and do not adhere to any entities that has any kind of affiliations to any muslim organizations? Why can't that be clearly stated on my profile as a person of Indian background so that all police authorities knows what kind of person I am, after all, that is my choice and I would make it easier for the authorities, so that they can focus their attention on Islamists.

I am so frustrated sometimes being painted with the Islamic pinceau because I look Indian and most Islamic terrorists (terrorists in general) happen to look Indian. What a shame that this draconian cult have inflicted on mankind. The West better not interefe with the two sleeping giants when they wake up, cleaning needs to be done in their backyards. We INDIANS (and natives of any lands), do not need this to taint our progress toward illumination.
