Ethical way to protect Americans against Muslims

Reader comment on item: Does the [New York] Police Department Profile? Should It?
in response to reader comment: We need more than profiling: WE NEED MUSLIM INTERNMENT CAMPS NOW!!!

I, too, have been thinking how practical the internment of Muslims would be. It will prevent a lot of bloodshed...by Muslims and by Americans who will retailiate when (not if) the Muslims strike again. We have no way of telling who among us is innocent and who is a threat. Why should I, my children, my parents have to live in fear. If the Muslims don't want to be isolated from the general populace, they should be free to return to their country of origin. No doubt they have some family there still. If I lived in another country and Americans were murdering or planning to murder the people of that country, I would not expect my presence to be accepted there, nor would I be surprised if people were suspect of me, or was told I must leave. It is understandable, to say the least.
