What Happened Is That The Land Went Back To Its Rightful Owners

What happened at the end of World War I with the end of the Ottoman empire is that the land which latter in 1948 became Israel went back to its rightful owners, the Jewish people. It would be better if the Arab/Muslim nations work to better the lives of their own people and not fight a losing cause.
