Islam has its own methods of manipulation. The kuran is an example of how to manipulate human beings. Communist manipulation was rather gross, islamic propaganda and manipulation is more subtle but also far more ruthless behind the scene. Islam involves intimidation (be it post mortem), bribery (also of the orgasmic variety), deceit, self-deceit, political heavy-handed-ness etc.

Islam cannot survive or maintain itself 1) without a totalitarian fascist state under its command, 2) without street-gangs led by mulllahs and imams working to control prayers, rituals, beliefs and fasts, 3) without totalitarian control over sexuality, reproduction and children's education, 4) without totalitarian control over information, politics and jurisprudence. ...

Muslims do not and cannot love anything except as a show to instigate violence for attaining martyrdom. Going berserk over every big or small thing is fundamental to islamic "education".
