in response to reader comment: LISTEN ALL CHRISTIANS AND NON-MUSLIMS

Another thing Justme, happiness is something very personal. You never know from one's religious beliefs or dress or financial condition if that individual is happy or unhappy. You have no right to say that Muslim women are less happy than you western women are. I am independent and I consider myself happy. On the other hand, my mother played the role of an 'obedient' housewife all her life. My father is the 'head of the family', not my mother. You may think - oh, what a life she's leading! But believe me, my mother is happy the way she is. Here's another example, you may find it pretty strange. My grandmother got married at the age of 16 and when she was 17, her husband died. She gave birth to my father a month after she lost her husband. She never got married again, never loved another man. She's in her 80s now but she says she still can see my grandfather when she closes her eyes. You may think she's the most unhappy person in the world, but she says she's happy that she could remain faithful to her husband all her life.

So Justme, please try to understand, there is not only one race and one culture in this world. Social values differ from culture to culture. If you can't respect other cultures and values, then you live in a box. Open your eyes and try to appreciate people who are different from you. Don't try to judge them from your perspective, don't try to impose your own values and code of conduct on others.
