Hind Samy...wonderful article, thank you for sharing it

Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?
in response to reader comment: Danish/American - maybe I can try to answer one of your questions...

Thank you for the link. It was very..how can I explain it...it was a relief to know that ones so highly revered in your religion think all this violence is wrong also. It is a crying shame that such a statement/article will never make it to the masses as it seems the media only like to show the worse sides of anything/anyone. Just like the 60 Minutes segment on Denmark. They only showed what they deemed appropriate, and what they showed is not the Denmark I know, or the Danish people for that matter. It seems the media in my country at least, like to add fuel to a fire instead of water.

I hope everyone in this forum reads the link you provided me/us with. It does show that there are leaders..the TRUE leaders..the faithful..the ones who follow the religion as I believe it was meant to be followed are not an enigma..they do exist! I wish the radicals who are in the news on a daily basis, the violent ones who have a warped sense of what being spiritual is, would stop their insanity for 10 minutes and take the time to read that article, and change their ways. Change the ways of using the power of the sword (killing and rioting) when they disagree to using the power of the mind and mouth (discussions and understanding) to get a point across.

Thank you again Hind Samy. And btw, I have not read that book, but I will go check it out. Reading is one thing I truly love to do. Thanks for the suggestion!

Take care.
